| Tasty is all about teaching people easy ways to make delicious food. What’s one piece of advice you would give to someone who says cooking is too hard? Cooking shouldn't be scary or hard. I find that when people are afraid to cook, the best way to start is to make something simple, like pasta with fresh tomatoes, parmesan, and lemon zest for instance, or (something) with items in your pantry and fridge, sort of like a Top Chef mystery basket quickfire and slowly start working your way to more elaborate items. Savory recipes are ultimately just guidelines and completely interchangeable. Food is fun and shouldn't be a stressful process. How do you compare the evolution of food in media from cooking shows to now digital platforms like Tasty?People used to like to sit and watch episodes of recipes being made, and today, with life's speed, digital media is more and more. The fact that on Tasty, you can view videos on your phone and can watch in between meetings, on lunch breaks, or waiting in line at a coffee shop just makes it that much more appealing to the digital consumer. What’s your favorite Tasty recipe you’ve ever made, worked on, or seen on social media? What’s one ingredient you can’t live without?Citrus 🍋 🍊 What are you most looking forward to doing with Tasty in this talent program? Mixing my two favorite things: food and history! (I want to) get people cooking Mexican food with a different multi-cultural aspect. A lot of first-second-third generation Mexican-Americans (and everyone else) can learn something from my history/food lessons! |
